Signs Of The Second Coming Of Jesus
7-27-2011 Vol. 5 Part 2a
Psalm 38:1-11 NKJV A Psalm of David. To Bring to Remembrance. O LORD, do not rebuke me in Your wrath, Nor chasten me in Your hot displeasure! For Your arrows pierce me deeply, And Your hand presses me down. There is no soundness in my flesh Because of Your anger, Nor any health in my bones Because of my sin. For my iniquities have gone over my head; Like a heavy burden they are too heavy for me. My wounds are foul and festering Because of my foolishness. I am troubled, I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long. For my loins are full of inflammation, And there is no soundness in my flesh. I am feeble and severely broken; I groan because of the turmoil of my heart. Lord, all my desire is before You; And my sighing is not hidden from You. My heart pants, my strength fails me; As for the light of my eyes, it also has gone from me. My loved ones and my friends stand aloof from my plague, And my relatives stand afar off. Father we praise your name, we give you all the glory. We thank you for all that you do for us. Hear our prayers and bless those that read your message. Provide them with peace, comfort, joy, and assurance of your presence. Bless their finances, health, and loved ones. You are awesome! Thank you Jesus! Amen!
SIGNS OF CHRIST’S RETURN (Matthew 24:1-9)
Matthew 24:1-9 NKJV  Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came up to show Him the buildings of the temple.  2  And Jesus said to them, "Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down."  3  Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?"  4  And Jesus answered and said to them: "Take heed that no one deceives you.  5  For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many.  6  And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.  7  For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.  8  All these are the beginning of sorrows.  9  "Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake.
The temple must have been an awesome sight. In verse one as the disciples were leaving the temple they were admiring the beauty and construction of the temple. In the course of conversation they must have made a statement to Jesus about it grandeur, and he responded it would be torn down. Not one stone would remain in place. This is a very different response Jesus made. It sounds like a response from a different conversation that took place another time, but Jesus would do this from time to time. It is like the response Jesus gave Nicodemus. Nicodemus makes a statement to Jesus that it is very evident he is a man of God because of the things He did. Jesus replies you have to be Born Again to see His kingdom. If we had a conversation with someone and got these types of responses, we would say, hello, where are you?
The response Jesus gave ties in with a prophesy of the Old Testament where it is stated the ground would be tilled up. Micah 3:12 NKJV  Therefore because of you Zion shall be plowed like a field, Jerusalem shall become heaps of ruins, And the mountain of the temple Like the bare hills of the forest. Here are some other verses that also tie in with what Jesus was saying. 1 Kings_9:7-8; Jeremiah_26:18; Ezekial_7:20-22; Daniel_9:26-27. Why do you think Jesus responded this way? It doesn’t seem to flow with the rest of the chapter. One would think that Jesus is talking about his body being the temple and he would be killed, doesn’t it? But he doesn’t say anything about it being restored in three days. What Jesus is talking about is the actual temple and that it would be completely destroyed, which it was in 70 AD by the Romans under the command of Titus. So how does this tie in with the rest of the chapter? Jesus is telling us about a prophecy that will happen in the near future for the disciples and us to believe in what he is about to say about the end of time events. I don’t remember what year the disciples died, but I do know some of them were alive at 70 AD and saw this prophecy come to past. So we must believe in what is contained in Matthew Chapters 24 and 25. So let’s get started and see what we can learn about the upcoming events, and if what is going on in current times has any significance to the end time events in these two chapters.
Verse four is where the disciples are asking Jesus what the signs will be of His return and the end of the age. They are seated on Mt. Olive when these questions are asked so there is a span of time between verse 3 and 4. How much time I don’t know, but with careful reading it is like a whole different chapter compared to verses 1and 2. Somehow the disciples knew the world would come to an end and they are asking for more details about the end of the age. Maybe during their walk to the mount there was a discussion about the world ending.
Verses 4 through 9 are speaking of things leading up to the Rapture and also of events after Born Again Christians will be removed from this earth, which is the Rapture. I want to point something out to you here and that is this. Born Again Christians are often times referred to as the Church, the Bride, Saints, and Saved. So when you read the Bible, don’t get confused as to what the author is referring to.
The Rapture kicks off the seven years of tribulation with the antichrist appearing on the scene at the midpoint (3 ½ years). What is going on in the world right now won’t hold a candle to the events that will take place during the Tribulation. The reason being is because all of God’s people will be removed from the earth along with the Holy Spirit. Without the presence of the Holy Spirit, sin will run rampant.
Deception: The first thing Jesus tells them and us is to beware, there will be many that will come and proclaim they are the Messiah and spread false doctrine deceiving many. Here are a number of other verses that go along with verses 3 & 4. (Jer_29:8; Mar_13:5-6, Mar_13:22; Luk_21:8; 2Co_11:13-15; Eph_4:14, Eph_5:6; Col_2:8, Col_2:18; 2Th_2:3; 2Pe_2:1-3; 1Jo_4:1)
I feel we are seeing this unfolding presently. Go on the internet and do a search for messiah and you will find people proclaiming to be the messiah. It isn’t just someone proclaiming to be the messiah that we have to be watchful for, it also pertains to false religions. Just watch some of the religious channels. You can see people flopping around like fish, barking like dogs, rolling on the floor laughing, etc. Not only this, just listen to the message they’re proclaiming. The message isn’t about Bible scripture it is about, if it feels good do it, it is all about love and how god (I didn’t capitalize god, because this is not the god the Bible teaches.) will forgive you no matter what you do without repentance. You don’t hear anything about what will happen to you if you are not Born Again and you live a life of sin, which is eternal Hell. What these religions are teaching is a god that is made up to justify your actions (sin) and also to keep a large following of people so the money keeps rolling in. This is a false god and it violates the 1st Commandment of our Holy and True God. So I have said this before and I will say it again. What you see, hear, and practice must be validated with God’s Holy Word the Bible, I don’t care what religion you practice. Don’t make the mistake some people make by thinking they know what the Bible states, verify it with the Bible and if you still have questions, verify it with reputable sources and not just within your religious groups. And above all ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the truth and then listen to Him. What is revealed to you may hurt and cut you to the bone, but remember your Eternal Life depends on it. This goes for me also, if something doesn’t sound right, call me on it and I will make a retraction if I’m wrong.  I have several pastors and scholars I use as resources if I don’t understand something. That is why it is so important to read and study the Bible, so you will know the truth.
During the Tribulation there will be mass deception by the antichrist. In fact there will be a veil come over those that have heard about salvation, but didn’t accept Jesus as their Saviour. They will no longer have a chance to accept Jesus as their Saviour. 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 NKJV The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.  11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. Revelation Chapter 13 and Daniel Chapter 11 give more details about how the antichrist will deceive people.
Disputes: Verses 6 and half of 7 are all about wars and rumors of wars. Thinking back in my lifetime there has been wars and uprising here and there, but there was peaceful times also. What about the last 10 to 12 years? There has been war going on in the Middle East and presently it doesn’t appear to be going away very fast.
Where do terrorist attacks fit in? They play a part in both rumors and pestilence. I will expand more next week on how terrorism is also pestilence. Think about 911 and what type of things were said by the public, the people we work with, what people said while out socializing. I’m sure you heard people say some hateful things and what should be done in retaliation. I would consider these things rumors, because we didn’t know for sure what our government was going to do. These types of things will continue to escalate as time moves forward. These are big items, but what about border skirmishes and race wars? These also fit right in causing constant distress and turmoil. It is estimated that right now there is one military weapon and four thousand pounds of explosives for every man, woman, and child on the face of the earth.
I’m up to five pages already, so I will stop here and continue next week with this part.

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God!

Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth,
Unless you are Born Again, you cannot enter into Heaven, the Kingdom of God."

Last Week’s Trivia: Who in the Old Testament raised someone from the dead?
Answer:  1 Kings 17:20-22 Then Elijah cried out to the LORD, "O LORD my God, why have You brought tragedy to this widow who has opened her home to me, causing her son to die?" 21 And he stretched himself out over the child three times and cried out to the LORD, "O LORD my God, please let this child's life return to him." 22 The LORD heard Elijah's prayer, and the life of the child returned, and he revived!

Signs Of The Second Coming Of Jesus
7-20-2011 Vol. 5 Part 1
Psalm 37:32-40 NKJV  The wicked watches the righteous, And seeks to slay him. The LORD will not leave him in his hand, Nor condemn him when he is judged. Wait on the LORD, And keep His way, And He shall exalt you to inherit the land; When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it. I have seen the wicked in great power, And spreading himself like a native green tree. Yet he passed away, and behold, he was no more; Indeed I sought him, but he could not be found. Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright; For the future of that man is peace. But the transgressors shall be destroyed together; The future of the wicked shall be cut off. But the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is their strength in the time of trouble. And the LORD shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked, And save them, Because they trust in Him. Father we praise your name we give you all the glory. I ask that you reveal to me the messages that you want to convey to all that read these lessons. Let you will be done in me as a scribe and also in those that read these. Keep us all healthy, safe, and worthy servants. You are awesome! Thank you Jesus! Amen!
THE SECOND COMING OF JESUS CHRIST
What is the second coming of Jesus? When will he come? Where is he coming from? Who is coming with him? Why is he coming? These are all good questions and if you haven’t read the Bible, this maybe all new and foreign to you. I feel this is what Jesus wants me to convey at this time. You can strike up a conversation with just about anyone these days about current times and everyone is starting to question what is going on with current times and world events. The weather/seasons have us all wondering what is around the next seasonal corner. Just within the last 12 months we have had major earthquakes, tornadoes, and floods (I consider a tsunami a great flood. Floods destroy by engulfing things in water.). The question I have now with the current season is what type of hurricanes are we in for. Are they going to be of great devastation? Bible prophecy stated these things will be more frequent and more devastating as the time nears when Jesus will return.
Back in 1843 there was a man named William Miller in New England and he announced the second coming of Christ. He studied and calculated and came up with the date March 21, 1843 Jesus was returning. He announced this to his followers so they all prepared white robes and when the day arrived they all went out at midnight and wait. The day came and went and the only event that happened was the jeering of people at their foolishness. All were very disappointed and William Miller sat down and looked over his calculations, discovering he had made a mistake. He then told his followers of his calculation error that he was one year off, and reassured them he had it right now. The next year came and went and again Jesus did not come. This happened one more year and when Jesus didn’t come the third time, all of Mr. Miller’s followers left him.
Does this sound like anything that has happened a couple months ago? Harold Camping predicted May 21, 2011 as judgment day, but as we all know this was false. He has changed his date to October 21, 2011. So I wonder what he will have to say when that date comes and goes. There is no human being that can predict judgment day. Jesus told his disciples that only God knows the hour. Mark 13:32 NKJV  "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Jesus didn’t even know. That seems strange since Jesus and God are one, but you have to remember that when Jesus made that statement, he was in human form, and we know Jesus doesn’t lie, so you have to believe that he didn’t know. Does he know now? Yes he does. The angels don’t know and they are around and minister to God all the time. Here is a list of other verses that state that only God knows the day and hour. Matthew 24:44 NLT You also must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man will come when least expected. Matthew 24:36, 42, 50; 25:13. So when someone predicts judgment day, you can be assured it is false.
What would happen if we knew when that day was? How would you live your life? What if judgment day was next Monday. How would you live your life till then? Would you start living a righteous life right now in hopes of going to Heaven? Why would that make a difference anyway if you aren’t living for God right now? After all tomorrow you could be in an automobile accident and die. If you died right now, this very second, do you have the assurance of what the Bible states of going to Heaven. If you can’t say for sure you are going to Heaven based on Bible scripture and what Jesus tells us, then please examine your life style and start living for Jesus, because tomorrow may be too late. We have to be like the train watchman and have the bridge lowered when the train comes, or it will end up in the river. We have to be ready at all times.
I have a book that someone has gone through the Bible and calculated out how many years it has been since creation. I do believe the earth is some 6,000 years old not billions of years old, so I base this reasoning on God’s words of creation. Scripture states this; 2 Peter 3:8 NLT But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day. When I read this verse a couple years ago, a light bulb went off in my head which related to God creating all things in 6 days and day 7 is a day of rest. My thought process is this. If we are someplace in the 6,000 year range of time (meaning day 6), and when year 7,000 arrives (meaning day 7), will this be the start of the millennial reign? The millennial reign is a time of peace when Jesus and his saints rule the earth. We are in the 6,000 year timeline, but where? That is the question and only God knows.
In Matthew Chapters 24 and 25 Jesus tells us all about the end time events, how Israel fits into the scheme of things, and just about any other end time prophetic event. These two chapters are referred to as the Olivet Discourse. These two chapters reveal the sequence of events, and how other Bible verses and the tribulation are all intertwined.
You ask if we are not to know the hour or day and are always to be ready, then why does Jesus tell us about the signs leading up to the end of time. It is just a gentle reminder for us so that we as human beings will keep our focus on him and always be ready. We can get so wrapped up in our daily lives we tend to lose track of time. When we hear of natural disasters we should also think about events that are prophesied to happen toward the end of time. True it is very sad and our hearts go out to those that have lost loved ones during these events, but it should also bring our focus back to God’s Word. This is what this parable is stating. Matthew 24:32-35 NLT "Now learn a lesson from the fig tree. When its branches bud and its leaves begin to sprout, you know that summer is near. 33  In the same way, when you see all these things, you can know His return is very near, right at the door. 34 I tell you the truth, this generation will not pass from the scene until all these things take place. 35 Heaven and earth will disappear, but My words will never disappear. It is no different than when the stores put out Christmas decorations months in advance. It is a sign of the upcoming Christmas season.
So be ready and if you aren’t ready get ready. There are a lot of people thinking and believing that we are seeing the end time events unfolding.
All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God!
Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth,
Unless you are Born Again, you cannot enter into Heaven, the Kingdom of God."

Psalm 37:21-31 NKJV  The wicked borrows and does not repay, But the righteous shows mercy and gives. For those blessed by Him shall inherit the earth, But those cursed by Him shall be cut off. The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, And He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the LORD upholds him with His hand. I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread. He is ever merciful, and lends; And his descendants are blessed. Depart from evil, and do good; And dwell forevermore. For the LORD loves justice, And does not forsake His saints; They are preserved forever, But the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off. The righteous shall inherit the land, And dwell in it forever. The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, And his tongue talks of justice. The law of his God is in his heart; None of his steps shall slide. Father God we praise your name, we pray that the leaders of this world are governing according to your will. Provide us wisdom and discernment through your Holy Spirit. Comfort those of that have lost loved ones recently. Help us to forgive as you have forgiven us. Protect us from the evils of this world and our fleshly wants. You are awesome! Thank you Jesus! Amen!
Emails, what modern technology has given us, a way of communication with the world from our homes. Not only email now, but Facebook, Twitter, Blogs, etc. Just type out your message and send it or post it and you have just communicated with a friend or posted something for the world to see.
Where am I going with this, I don’t know for sure. I’ve been praying for a few days and asking Jesus what he wants to communicate. Sunday morning as I’m having a slice of toast with peanut butter and jelly these thoughts started to flow. So I headed for the computer and in no time page one was done.
Is this modern technology good? That is the question. I know it is good if we use it correctly and don’t lose sight of our Christianity when we are on the world wide web. Let’s take emails for example, I get a number of emails that appear to be religious and a wonderful prayer or a message that touches your heart and makes you stop and think about your life. The problem is when you get to the bottom of some of the prayers or messages it states, “quick send this in the next 10 minutes and something good will happen to you in 24 hours,” or something like, “send this to 10 people including me so I know you are my friend”. If the message is a heartfelt message, and you are a Christian, won’t you send it on without being prompted to?
Before I go any further I admit that I have been guilty of what I’m about to say, but it has been revealed to me I was wrong and I’m in the process of changing my ways. This is that part of sanctification we go through after we give our life to Jesus. The Holy Spirit will reveal to us things that we do wrong until the day we die. These sinful things that are brought to our attention whether by the Holy Spirit or a brother or sister in Christ needs to capture our attention so we can analyze what we are doing and then go to Jesus and ask for forgiveness, repent, and amend our ways to stay obedient to God.
Ok with that said let’s get back to the messages we receive. They strike me as putting our faith in a message with us doing something, to get a reward. This is like people doing good deeds, supporting charities, being kind and appearing to be a good person, etc. to earn their way into God’s Kingdom. There is nothing we can do to justify our goodness before God, to gain entry into His Kingdom without being Spiritually Born. If we aren’t Spiritually Born, God still views us as a sinner. Romans 3:23 NLT  For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard. The only way is believing in the death and resurrection of Jesus, and why this was necessary. It is what happened on the cross at Calvary. Also, it isn’t just believing, which is only a part of that spiritual birth, but it is also realizing we are all sinners by natural birth and that we have to be sorry for our sins, ask forgiveness, make a commitment to try and sin no more, and ask Jesus to come into our heart and live within us to help us with our commitment to sin no more in order to live a righteous life. In the following verses Jesus is talking to the Apostles. John 14:15-17 NLT  "If you love Me, obey My commandments.  16  And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate, (The Holy Spirit.) who will never leave you.  17  He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it isn't looking for Him and doesn't recognize Him. But you know Him, because He lives with you now (Meaning Jesus) and later will be in you (The Holy Spirit.). This is the only way to Heaven/God’s Kingdom. John 3:5-7 NLT  Jesus replied, "I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit.  6  Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life.  7  So don't be surprised when I say, 'You must be born again.'
I feel these email messages can be a form of idolatry, a violation of the First Commandment. You ask how can this be? It is because of the last part where you are prompted to forward these types of messages on hoping to get something in return. It is putting our faith in responding to the message instead of putting Jesus first and your faith in Jesus to provide for you.
So is it bad to forward these messages? No if you feel touched by the message and want to share it, by all means share it, but when you click on the forward button, go down through the message and delete all that would indicate that you are putting your faith in the message and hoping for something in return. Then turn to Jesus, put your faith in Jesus, and pray to him for what you are hoping for. Forward it out of love and don’t expect anything in return. God will bless you for the love you are sharing. This goes hand in hand with Luke 6:35 NKJV  But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil.
What about general information emails that come through concerning something that sort of makes sense, so you just forward it on without checking it out? What if it is a lie? Is it any different than if we verbally stated it or forwarded it in an email? If it is not the truth it doesn’t matter how we communicate it, does it? So there’s another Commandment violated.
What about emails that come through involving jokes, cartoons, slander, bashing, etc. of our elected officials? Could this be a form of bearing false witness if we participate by forwarding the emails? Oh no, not another Commandment violated. This isn’t funny anymore. Now don’t get me wrong and think I endorse what some of our leaders are doing. I don’t, but we only see the small snapshot of what is going on in the world, where as God has the big screen TV and has a plan and is using certain people and situations for His will to be done here on earth. Didn’t God use certain tribes of people to punish the Israelites when they forsake him? The Bible states we have to respect our government even though we may not agree with what is going on. Romans 13:6-7 NLT  Pay your taxes, too, for these same reasons. For government workers need to be paid. They are serving God in what they do.  7  Give to everyone what you owe them: Pay your taxes and government fees to those who collect them, and give respect and honor to those who are in authority. Titus 3:1-2 NLT  Remind the believers to submit to the government and its officers. They should be obedient, always ready to do what is good.  2  They must not slander anyone and must avoid quarreling. Instead, they should be gentle and show true humility to everyone. We need to pray for our elected officials and world leaders as human beings and not for what they are doing. After all what they are doing may be God’s will. Pray that they find Jesus! Actions like this, is Christ like. Jesus loves the person, but hates the sin. It is loving your enemy/neighbor as yourself. Matthew 5:43-46 NLT "You have heard the law that says, 'Love your neighbor' and hate your enemy.  44 But I say, love your enemies! Bless those who curse you. Do good to those who hate you. Pray for those who persecute you!  45 In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For He gives His sunlight to both the evil and the good, and He sends rain on the just and the unjust alike.  46 If you love only those who love you, what reward is there for that? Even corrupt tax collectors do that much.
Here is another type of email that comes through and it is about our boarder wars that are going on. I really don’t know what the answer is, and all we can do is a lot of prayer. These types of emails would also fall in the category of loving our neighbors.
What should we forward on then? Is it wrong to forward any type of email? No, but I think we have to use great discretion as to what we forward and make sure it doesn’t reflect any of the above. As Christians we do need to be informed as to what is going on around us locally and globally, but we need to make sure the facts are correct and presented in a manner as not to violate God’s Commandments. Getting the accurate information is very difficult at times, even from the news media. Sometimes it would be better to send the message to the trash instead of forwarding it. Use that delete key to clean up the message, validate the truth, love our neighbors, and above all put God first in your life.
As I said above I have been guilty of forwarding all of these types of emails in the past, but God has laid it on my heart to clean up my act, and I apologize if I have offended anyone in the past. Things like this, is that ongoing sanctification process that takes place after we give our heart to Jesus and start living for the Kingdom of God. It is called regeneration where the old life is buried and a new life style begins. Romans 6:6 NLT  We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin. Ephesians 4:22 NLT  throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception.
Wow, I didn’t expect this lesson to end up this way. The thoughts really flowed and they do make sense to me. I hope they make sense to you. I don’t give homework, but for the next week take special note to your emails that come in and before forwarding them, do a Jesus check on them.

PS. Just when I thought I was done, another thought about emails hit me. It is the off color jokes and cartoons that plague the email system. So if you are participating, guess what, God views this as sin too. Ephesians 5:4 NLT  Obscene stories, foolish talk, and coarse jokes—these are not for you. Instead, let there be thankfulness to God.

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God!

Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth,
Unless you are Born Again, you cannot enter into Heaven, the Kingdom of God."

Psalm 37:9-20 NKJV  For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the LORD, They shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more; Indeed, you will look carefully for his place, But it shall be no more. But the meek shall inherit the earth, And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. The wicked plots against the just, And gnashes at him with his teeth. The Lord laughs at him, For He sees that his day is coming. The wicked have drawn the sword And have bent their bow, To cast down the poor and needy, To slay those who are of upright conduct. Their sword shall enter their own heart, And their bows shall be broken. A little that a righteous man has Is better than the riches of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, But the LORD upholds the righteous. The LORD knows the days of the upright, And their inheritance shall be forever. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time, And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. But the wicked shall perish; And the enemies of the LORD, Like the splendor of the meadows, shall vanish. Into smoke they shall vanish away. Father God we praise your name, we pray that the leaders of this world govern according to your will. Provide us insight through your Holy Spirit. Comfort those of us that have lost loved ones recently. Help us to forgive as you have forgiven us. Protect us from the evils of this world and our fleshly wants. You are awesome! Thank you Jesus! Amen!

The love I have for everyone is why this lesson has come about. It is a lesson that will cut you to the bone, but it is the truth. Please take it to heart, ponder it, seek the truth in God’s Holy Bible, because I want to see all that read this in Heaven.
As you can see above there is only one correct answer, and that is putting your faith in Jesus Christ and what he did at the cross for us. By doing this we become Spiritually Born just like Jesus explained to Nicodemus.  John 3:5-7 NKJV Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.  6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.  7 Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.'
All of the other things above will not save a person. We are mislead with the idea that if we try to be good and do good deeds, God will look the other way when we stand before him, but he won’t. God hates sins and it is black and white with God, no gray areas. Anyone that is not Born Again is living according to the Law. Romans 3:19 NKJV  Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. The only reason God gave us the 10 Commandments was so that we would have knowledge of good and bad. Before that no one knew it was bad to lie, steal, kill, etc. Romans 3:20 NKJV Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
With the inherited sin nature that we have, we as human beings are incapable of doing things to work our way to Heaven or of not sinning. We have to be Born Again by acknowledging we are sinners, asking for forgiveness, repentance, and turning our life over to Jesus.  Romans 3:21- 24 NKJV But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Romans 4:5 NLT  But people are counted as righteous, not because of their work, but because of their faith in God who forgives sinners.
We justify our goodness with other human beings, like I’ve never killed anyone, I’m better than those that have committed murder. God doesn’t look at us that way. What He sees, is if we have broken one of his laws, we aren’t any better than someone that has broken all the commandments. To God it doesn’t matter if we use his name inappropriately or have committed murder. James 2:10 NLT  For the person who keeps all of the laws except one is as guilty as a person who has broken all of God's laws.
Let’s use a courtroom as an example, but instead of a judge, God is sitting in for the judge.
GOD:                 I want to teach you some important principles of the law, so please answer the following questions thoughtfully.
DEFENDANT:   Yes I will.
GOD:                 Do you consider yourself to be a good person?
DEFENDANT:   Yes, I am a good person.
GOD:                 Have you ever lied . . . even once; including 'white' lies?
DEFENDANT:   Yes.
GOD:                 What does that make you?
DEFENDANT:   Human??
GOD:                 So you are saying that you make "mistakes." You have human weaknesses. Nevertheless, in the eyes of the law, you are a liar.
DEFENDANT:   But God, there are many people worse than me.
GOD:                 That is irrelevant. You have lied, so what does that make you?
DEFENDANT:   A "liar".
GOD:                 Have you ever stolen anything?
DEFENDANT:   No.
GOD:                 You have never downloaded anything from the internet like music or pictures that you weren’t suppose to, or made copies of something at work for your own personal needs, or stood around talking when you were suppose to be working?
DEFENDANT:   Yes, I have. But that was in the past.
GOD:                 Everything that we have done is "in the past." You have stolen, so what does that make you?
DEFENDANT:   A "thief".
GOD:                 Have you ever use my name inappropriately?
DEFENDANT:   Yes, but I’m sorry.
GOD:                 I created you so you could have life, but you have no respect of me by using my name in a blasphemous way. What does that make you?
DEFENDANT:   A “blasphemer”.
GOD:                 My Holy Word says, “anyone who even looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” (Matthew 5:28) Have you ever looked at the opposite sex with lust?
DEFENDANT:   Sure, doesn’t everyone?
GOD:                 I’m not talking about everyone, I’m talking to you. So what does that make you?
DEFENDANT:   An “adulterer.”
GOD:                 I hate idolatry, have you ever prayed or place another person, place, or thing before me? Romans 1:23 NLT  And instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-living God, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people and birds and animals and reptiles.
DEFENDANT:   Yes, and that makes me an “idolater.”
GOD:                 Do I need to go on with the other five commandments?
DEFENDANT:   No, please stop.
GOD:                 So, by your own admission, you are a lying, thieving, blaspheming, idolizing, adulterer. By your own admission, are you guilty or not guilty?
DEFENDANT:   But your God, I am sorry, and I won't do it again.
GOD:                 You should be sorry for you know right from wrong, but you are standing here before me and your life is over. Are you guilty or not guilty?
DEFENDANT:   Guilty, but I have given money to charities, I go to church, I…, I…, I…
GOD:                 That is commendable, but what has that to do with your crime? You are guilty, and you must be punished. The law demands that. Heaven or Hell?
DEFENDANT:   Heaven.
GOD:                 You just admitted being guilty, why should I let you in my kingdom?
DEFENDANT:   Because you are good, just, and fair.
GOD:                 Your right, I am that, and it is because of that I condemn you to hell, otherwise I wouldn’t be good, just, and fair.
The previous scenario highlights the most common mistakes people make about God and His Ten Commandments. Almost all of us think that we are good people. We also mistakenly think that our good works, and our sorrow for sin, and the fact that we won't do it again, will save us when we face God. We also think our religion that we practice will save us, but it won’t. John 3:5-7 doesn’t talk about any religion, it talks about a Spiritual Birth. Jesus can’t state it any clearer, so if you don’t believe what Jesus says, then who are you going to believe, man? However, the Day will come when each of us will stand before Him that is 100% guaranteed. “It is then that we will see His anger revealed against murderers, rapists, thieves, liars, adulterers, fornicators (those who have had sex before marriage), etc. God's justice will be so thorough, He will even judge hatred as murder, (1 John 3:15 NLT Anyone who hates another brother or sister is really a murderer at heart. And you know that murderers don't have eternal life within them.) and "every idle word that men speak." Remember that the Law doesn't see the fact that you have "weaknesses" or that "everybody else does it," as a legitimate excuse. God is "good," and He will make sure absolute justice is done. Being sorry or not sinning again won't save you because you should be sorry (you have a conscience), and of course you shouldn't sin again. Your good works may be commendable, but they will have nothing to do with your case. If you are found to be guilty, according to the Bible you will end up in Hell. It is not His will that you go to Hell. He provided a way for you to be forgiven. He so loves you that He sent His Son to take your punishment: "God demonstrated His love toward us, in that, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Then Jesus rose from the dead and defeated death. If you will repent (turn away from sin) and trust in Him, God will forgive you and grant you everlasting life. It's as simple as this -- we broke God's Law, and Jesus paid our fine. If we repent and trust Him, we are free to leave the Courtroom -- our case can be dismissed! Pray something like this now: "Dear God, I am sorry for my sins, I want to turn away from all of my sins. This day I put my trust in you Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Please forgive me, change my heart, and grant me your gift of everlasting life. Amen." Then read the Bible daily and obey what you read (see John 14:21). God loves you and will never leave you.

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God!

Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth,
Unless you are Born Again, you cannot enter into Heaven, the Kingdom of God."
