Due to several things that has just come up that needs my attention I'm going to cut back on the weekly Bible Study. When I do complete one I will post it. I hope by July 12, 2017 to be back on a weekly schedule.

It isn't anything but just being stretched to thin and unexpected expenses which has caused me to go back to work on a part time basis.

If you are new to my blog or not new check out the Archives. Matthew Chapter 24 and 25 along with Revelations are very interesting to study with the worldly events that are occurring now.

Inspiration of This Site

Hi everyone, I have been motivated by a number of things to put together Bible email messages and send them out to loved ones, family, relatives, friends, and now to all with this Blog not just email messages. What has been my inspiration, number one God has been suggesting this for quite some time with me, second I love my brothers and sisters and want to see everyone in heaven, third there are so many junk emails that go around, that aren’t worth opening, so why not send out something to read that will nourish the spirit, and fourth my sister passed away unexpectedly. This has really hit home with me and has made me think that today something could happen to any of us that would end our lives.

James 4:14 KJV Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

That verse really makes me think that our lives are just a vapor. I’m 59 this year and thinking back it just seems like yesterday I was living at home, or just married and starting a family, etc. What about you, does your childhood seem like yesterday? Had some great times being with cousins and friends. Those softball games at family reunions were great, or playing crack the whip, hide and seek, spending a week at cousins or friends houses during the summer, etc. Oh, sorry about that, the old mind started reminiscing. Okay, let’s stay focused on the task at hand, and that brings us to the following questions.

Are you ready to die? What is your relationship with Jesus? Are you going to heaven? How do you get to heaven? Do you live for Jesus or yourself? Do you know what Gods Holy Word the Bible says about what is necessary to go to heaven?

The Bible is what these messages are going to be about. I will try to keep them to three pages per week. About now you are thinking what credentials do I have to present the Bible? Well first of all I assure you I’m not an expert and I don’t claim to have all the answers, so I will be trying to keep my opinion on neutral ground, and use commentary notes that explain the scriptures. Please stop and think about this for a second. Who were the apostles? Were they educated students of God’s word, or were they ordinary people that learned from Jesus and then were filled and inspired by the Holy Spirit? If I recollect I think a few of them were plain ordinary fishermen.

The first topic will be “How do you get to heaven?” Shouldn’t this be our main quest in life to figure out how we can obtain everlasting life in heaven? Is our life here on earth a test to see if we are worthy to spend eternity in Heaven with God and Jesus or the Lake of Fire? Is your name in the Book of Life that Jesus talks about?

I’m going to start out with the gospel of John, but first you need some background on who the Sadducees, Pharisees, and Essenes were of Jesus time period, which is what Part 1 is about and Part 2 will start with Chapter 3 of the book of John.
